Working for several large shops as a general manager doubling or in some cases tripling the gross sale and bring up their net 2-6 points I started my own Collision center in 2002. We went from a small older shop to a modern 56,000sqft building doing in an excess of 6.5 million dollars a year. We have recently received an offer for the business which we are going to accept for several reasons. My family lives near Indianapolis and my wife and I purchased a wonderful home in the area for a future investment. Several months ago a leading law firm offered my wife a very accommodating position heading up their contract s department as lead attorney. I am looking for a position in the collision industry that I feel I may contribute to. The collision industry has changed so much from many years ago. I feel the modern manager must be able to be able to market new business, maintain existing or improve accounts, be first and foremost business minded as well as have the ability to run a collision center. I am very pro oem education, seeing new composites and aluminum repairs as the future we began our traing on this many years ago. Probably the reason for dramatic growth as we are one of the only shops with 5 cellete benches and multiple resistance welders and the Vision electronic measuring system. Achievements Member of BMW collision round table for Southern California. 286 BMW CORA credits including aluminum and carbon fiber and fiber optics. Personally signing over 56 DRP contracts as a General Manager or Employer over the last 10years. Purchasing the assets of a small repair facility and turning into one of the largest in Los angels and able to sell it and move back near my family in less than 6 years. Procuring paint contracts with distributors over many year in exes of 1million.
